I’ve compiled a list of the blog directories with the highest PR. They’re free too: just because you pay for something doesn’t mean it has a better page rank. Most of these have been around since blogs hit it big so their PR has grown over time. The first listing isn’t a directory, but given its PR and reach, it’s something every blog should do. And it gives me opportunity to put up my Fave This Blog link (hint hint). Most of these blogs also don’t require a reciprocal link, which is best for PR. However, including a reciprocal link can lead to faster inclusion and a higher listing. To my mind, the traffic from a blog directory is not going to come from the directory itself, but from Google searches as a result of better PR, so I’d recommended against reciprocal linking if you don’t have to.
